本日9月18日は「かいわれ大根の日」です。日本かいわれ協会が制定したものですが、「8」を横にすると「∞」無限大となり、その下に「1」を足すことから「無限の可能性を秘めた発芽の日」という意味が込められています。小さな芽から大きな可能性が広がる、なんとも素敵な記念日ですね。
Today, September 18th, is "Kaiware Daikon Day" in Japan. Established by the Japan Sprout Association, this day carries a beautiful meaning: when you turn the number "8" sideways, it becomes the infinity symbol "∞", and by adding "1" below it, it represents "a day of sprouting with infinite possibilities." How wonderful to think that from small sprouts, great potential can grow.
今天，9月18日在日本被稱為「芽菜蘿蔔日」。這個紀念日由日本芽菜協會設立，其含義十分有趣：將數字「8」橫過來就變成了「∞」無限符號，而在其下方加上「1」，代表著「擁有無限可能性的萌芽之日」。多麼美妙的概念啊，從小小的芽苗中孕育著無限的可能。
また、本日はチリの「独立記念日」でもあります。1810年のこの日、チリはスペインからの独立を宣言しました。269年間の植民地時代を経て、独自の道を歩み始めた記念すべき日なのです。
September 18th also marks Chile's Independence Day. On this day in 1810, Chile declared independence from Spain after 269 years as a colony. It's a day that commemorates the beginning of Chile's journey as an autonomous nation.
9月18日也是智利的「獨立紀念日」。1810年的今天，智利宣布脫離西班牙統治，結束了長達269年的殖民時期，開始了獨立自主的國家之路。
アメリカでは「全国チーズバーガーデイ」として親しまれています。美味しいチーズバーガーを食べて祝うという、なんとも心躍る記念日ですね。日本でもハンバーガーチェーンなどで特別なキャンペーンが行われることがあります。
In the United States, today is celebrated as "National Cheeseburger Day." It's a joyful occasion where people celebrate by enjoying delicious cheeseburgers. Even in Japan, some hamburger chains may offer special campaigns to mark this day.
在美國，今天被慶祝為「全國芝士漢堡日」。人們藉此機會享用美味的芝士漢堡來慶祝這個令人愉快的日子。在日本，一些漢堡連鎖店可能也會舉辦特別的促銷活動。
歴史を振り返ると、1947年、今から78年前の今日、アメリカ空軍が正式に設立されました。それまでは陸軍の一部門でしたが、この日に独立した軍として正式に発足したのです。
Looking back at history, 78 years ago today in 1947, the United States Air Force was officially established. Until then, it had been a branch of the Army, but on this day it was formally launched as an independent military service.
